These terms are designed to ensure a respectful, safe, and enriching experience for all students and parents.

2. Services Offered

Banichhanda Dance Academy provides:

• Offline Kathak training at our Mumbai studio.

• Online and international classes via approved digital platforms.

• Workshops, cultural events, and performances.

• Private or customized sessions upon request.

All classes and events are subject to instructor availability, scheduling, and enrollment capacity.

3. Enrollment & Conduct

By enrolling, students and their parents/guardians agree to:

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and decorum at all times.

• Respect teachers, staff, and fellow students, both in class and during Academy events.

• Follow the academy’s dress code — proper dance attire, neatly tied hair, and punctual attendance.

• Keep mobile phones on silent during class and avoid unnecessary disturbances.

• Use polite and professional communication with teachers and staff.

• Avoid any form of misconduct, disrespect, or disruption that affects the learning environment.

• Parents are expected to ensure that their wards maintain consistent attendance and disciplined behaviour.

• The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment in case of repeated misconduct, indiscipline, or violation of policies.

• Students participating in any event, stage show, performance, shoot, or showcase must mandatorily purchase the prescribed costume and jewellery as directed by the Academy.

4. Parent Responsibilities

• Parents/guardians play a vital role in supporting the student’s learning.

• They are expected to encourage regular practice at home and ensure the student attends classes regularly and on time.

• For online classes, parents must supervise young students to ensure they have a safe, distraction-free environment.

• Any concerns or queries must be raised respectfully through the proper communication channels (email or phone).

• Parents are requested not to interfere during ongoing classes or rehearsals.

5. Fees & Payment Terms

• A one-time admission fee is charged at the time of joining and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Monthly class fees are to be paid every month for the first three months, and bimonthly thereafter.

• All fees must be paid on or before the 8th of each month. A late fee will be applicable if payment is delayed.

• All fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of attendance or discontinuation.

• Fees can be paid online via Razorpay or other approved modes.

• The Academy does not store or access any payment card information; all transactions are securely handled by the payment gateway.

• Students are required to purchase the official Academy uniform, notebooks, and other essential class accessories directly from the Academy only.

6. Attendance & Missed Classes

• Regular attendance is crucial for steady progress in dance.

• If a class is cancelled by the Academy, a compensatory session will be scheduled.

• If a student misses a class, it will not be compensated or adjusted.

• Repeated absenteeism without prior intimation may lead to suspension or cancellation of admission.

• Parents must ensure that children attend all scheduled classes, workshops, and rehearsals on time.
   

7. Dress Code & Discipline

• Students must wear appropriate dance attire (Kurta/Churidar/Dupatta or Lehenga as per the class level).

• Proper grooming and hygiene are mandatory for all classes and performances.

• Jewelry, watches, and accessories should be avoided during sessions.

• Students must maintain discipline, humility, and respect for the art form of Kathak at all times.

• Any damage to studio property caused by negligence will have to be compensated by the student/parent.

• Only Academy-approved uniforms and accessories are to be worn during classes and performances.

8. Media, Photos & Videos

• The Academy may photograph or record classes, rehearsals, and performances for documentation and promotional purposes.

• By enrolling, students and parents grant the Academy permission to use photos or videos for social media, website, and marketing.

• If any parent or student wishes to opt out, they must inform the Academy in writing via info.banichhanda@gmail.com or call 9594935865.

• Students are not permitted to record or distribute any class content without the Academy’s written consent.

9. Intellectual Property

• All choreography, routines, syllabus, and class content are the intellectual property of Banichhanda Dance Academy.

• Students are prohibited from teaching, recording, or reproducing Academy content outside class.

• Unauthorized sharing of videos, class recordings, or choreographies will lead to immediate termination and legal action if necessary.

10. Health, Safety & Liability

• Students participate in classes at their own risk.

• The Academy is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of belongings during classes, rehearsals, or performances.

• Students (or parents) must notify instructors of any pre-existing health conditions or injuries before class.

• During online classes, parents must ensure there is enough safe space for the student to dance freely.

• The Academy follows safety protocols and expects students to cooperate fully.

11. Online Classes

• Students must log in on time, dressed appropriately, with their camera turned on.

• The Academy is not responsible for internet connectivity issues or device malfunctions on the student’s side.

• Online sessions may not be recorded, shared, or rebroadcast without permission.

• Parents of minor students are encouraged to assist in maintaining discipline and focus during online sessions.

12. Modifications & Cancellations

• The Academy reserves the right to reschedule or modify classes in case of instructor illness, holidays, or unavoidable circumstances.

• Prior notice will be given wherever possible.

• All decisions regarding class scheduling, fees, or compensatory classes will be made at the sole discretion of the management.

13. Limitation of Liability

Banichhanda Dance Academy shall not be responsible for:

• Injuries sustained during classes or performances.

• Loss of personal belongings.

• Interruptions due to technical or unforeseen issues.

Participation in any Academy program implies full acceptance of personal responsibility and acknowledgment of the risks involved in physical activity.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15. Policy Updates

The Academy reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Updated versions will be published on our website with the “Effective Date.”
Continued participation in classes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
